2026 16-U and Juniors Nationals "Fargo" Intent Form
This is for ALL 16U and Junior Division wrestlers both male and female. This is the premiere wrestling event for high school age wrestlers in the United States. This is a must attend if you are a serious wrestler with high aspirations. We have a limit of 4 wrestlers per weight not counting those who have achieved "Auto-Qualifier" status. Top 4 placers at SDWCA/SDUSAW Freestyle State are locked in AT THE SAME WEIGHT CLASS in freestyle unless there is a waivered athlete at that weight class who may request a wrestle-off. Open spots on weight classes in freestyle will be filled by wrestlers who competed at SDWCA/SDUSAW, Northern Plains or other regional event, or returning team members. Wrestlers who wish to move up a weight class due to a growth spurt are subject to wrestle-off. Greco-Roman teams are open application due to lack of a qualifying tournament. (Women may also compete in the Men's Greco-Roman National Championships in their respective age group since there is no Greco-Roman National Championship for them) IN ALL CASES, IT IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO GO TO NORTHERN PLAINS OR OTHER USAW REGIONAL TO ATTEMPT TO EARN AUTO-QUALIFIER STATUS AS WELL AS GAIN SOME VALUABLE MATCH EXPERIENCE.
Training Camp Information
There will be a series of training camps available to athletes. Training Camp Dates are April 18, May 2, Duals training camps prior to departures of the National Duals Teams, and Fargo Camp. See the main National Teams page for more information on training camp opportunities. There a a few requirements for attendance at these training camps:
Must attend a minimum of TWO training camps
Must attend the "Fargo" Training Camp at Northern State prior to the event.

Automatic Qualifiers – 16U & Junior Nationals
The following shall serve as automatic qualifiers at Junior & 16U Nationals and shall not count against any roster limit:
Current year 1st-6th place at USA Wrestling Regionals (placement must be in the same age and style)
Current year 1st-8th place at U15 Nationals (placement must be in the same style)
Current year 1st-8th place at U17 Nationals (placement must be in the same style)
Current year 1st-8th place at U20 Nationals (placement must be in the same style)
Previous year 1st-8th place at Junior Nationals (placement must be in the same style)
Previous year 1st-8th place at 16U Nationals (placement must be in the same style)
